After more than 1,500 nautical miles I can say that the propeller has always behaved very well, virtually canceling out the evolutionary effect and allowing me to maneuver more accurately in port.

Under sail, the blades lay out like a flag, and the lower friction allows for higher speeds.

I also highly recommend the line-cutting blade: just yesterday when diving, I noticed a nylon line wrapped around the blades. The fishing line, however, could not retract back to the shaft, I assume precisely because it was cut by the line cutter, and so the oil seal was not damaged, which could have caused salt water to enter the Saildrive oil.

Also always helpful and competent was the after-sales service, in the person of Mr. Moroni.

Thank you
